Poetry Shared is a labour of love. I try not to point it out, but I have invested a rather large number of hours in writing code for the site, keeping it running, etc.
Unfortunately, I am just a poor student, so I cannot invest a similar amount of cash in the site. Besides, I might run Poetry Shared, but it really belongs to the community. So, though I hate to do it, I am asking the members of the site to help out with the (admittedly low) running costs of the website.
Any donations received through this page will go ONLY to the Poetry Shared website. I make no profit out of the site, nor do I intend to. There is no suggested donation amount - that's up to you. Indeed, it's up to you whether or not you donate. No-one will except me will be able to see who donated what, and I'll just be happy with whatever the site gets, so there's no pressure at all.
I apologise for having to do this. I wouldn't unless it was necessary. It's either this or textual adverts on the website, and I want to try and keep the website advert-free, even as it expands.
